Registrants and page turners will be allowed for all classes except Planned Improvisation and Hymn and Worship Song.
The opportunity to practise on the organ used for the Festival will be discussed with each performer well before the performance date.
Entrants may choose pieces with or without pedals (or a mixture of the two).
In the Planned Improvisation and Hymn and Worship Song class, performances without using pedals are acceptable.

1301 Planned Improvisation
Any age. Improvisation on the tune Picardy (Let all mortal flesh). No music, apart from a copy of the hymn, allowed on the music desk.
Time limit: 5 minutes
Under 18 entry fee: £8.50
Adult entry fee: £10.00
1302 Hymn or Worship Song
Any age. 3 verses (and refrains if appropriate) plus playover. Own choice of one hymn or worship song. Competitors should indicate to the adjudicator which verses are being played.

1303 Pre-Service Organ Music
Any age. Own choice of music but must all be from the same time of the church year.
Time limit: 10 minutes

1304 Younger Organists
15 years and younger, own choice.
Time limit: 5 minutes
Under 18 entry fee: £8.50
1305 Younger Recitalists
18 years and younger, own choice.
Time limit: 10 minutes

1306 Open Recital
Any age, own choice: the success of the programme as a whole as well as the actual performance will be taken into consideration.
Time limit: 15 minutes
