Chichester Festival for Music, Dance and Speech

The Chichester Festival for Music, Dance and Speech was founded in 1955, to encourage and promote the performing arts for all age groups, and especially for the young. The Festival is a Registered Charity, number 1040782, and is affiliated to the British Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech of which Her Majesty the Queen is Patron.

Dance Classes in 2019 Festival


We are very sorry but due to unavoidable family commitments and health issues with the dance secretaries unfortunately the Dance section of the 2019 Festival has been cancelled.  It is however our intention to run the Dance Festival again in 2020.

Entry to the 2019 Festival


Entries are now being accepted for the 2019 Festival.

The cut-off date for receipt of paper entries was 10 November, and no further paper entries can be accepted.
