Syllabus for the 2020 Festival
This is a warm and friendly greeting to you all!
It will be our 65th Chichester Festival of Music, Dance & Speech in 2020 which is an amazing achievement. Over the years we have grown and adapted to modern day standards, requests and demands. In 2020 we will see the return of the Dance Section and the introduction of brand new classes for Street Dance and ACRO!
We have exceptional professional adjudicators lined up for this year to encourage and inspire candidates in all our sections.
We look forward to welcoming you and receiving your entries.

Dance Classes in the 2020 Festival
We are delighted to announce that Dance classes will again be held in our 2020 Festival after their omission last year.
Entry will be possible on-line in common with our Music and Speech classes. Please note that, in view of the enormous popularity of Dance in previous years’ Festivals, we feel that a maximum number of entries to each class must be set. That number will be 30 per class. We recommend that you submit your entries as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Entry to the 2020 Festival
We are now accepting entries to our 2020 Festival. Entries for all classes, including Dance, can be placed through our on-line entry system. We much prefer that entries be made on-line as there are significant benefits both for the entrant and the Festival. However, paper entries will still be accepted for Music and Speech classes only.
The closing date for postal entries (Music and Speech) is Sunday 10 November 2019. Closing date for on-line entries (all classes) is Sunday 1 December 2019.
